ColoSpace provides the following services:
Data Center Space:
License to use data center space, either rack space,
cabinet or a private caged area. The data center is
located in a class A office building in Bedford, NH
and has been constructed with a 30in raised floor. Customers
enjoy private Cabinets or Cage layouts for their mission-critical
infrastructure. ColoSpace also provides dedicated NOC
(Network Operations Center) for those clients requiring
technical lab environments for their 24x7 engineering
staff.
Internet Bandwidth:
ColoSpace will provide the required amount of Internet
bandwidth via leased fiber from InterNAP's Somerville,
MA Private Network Access Point (PNAP) where 6 tier-one
carriers provide connectivity to the Internet. Connectivity
is managed by InterNAP Network Services. Internap has
created an innovative way of using the existing Internet
network infrastructure to route your data and avoid
the Internet's points of congestion. InterNAP has built
an Overlay Network that is armed with intelligent routing
technology to get your data from point A to point B
in the fastest, most reliable and least-congested path
possible. ColoSpace also provides IP addresses and DNS
service for the customer.
Rental of the data center space includes the following:
Power:
Our facility is served by redundant transformer power
from the utility company providing ample power for blade
or rack mounted servers. Client environments are connected
to the N+1 MGE PDU and UPS System Power protected by
Diesel Generator Power in the event of a power failure.
Additionally the Data Center is has multiple TVSS (transient
voltage surge suppression system) and its fully grounded
for lighting protection.
Environmental Controls:
Our data center has a fully redundant N+1, 30 Ton
Air Flow CRAC HVAC units, maintaining temperature and
humidity to rigid standards. Systems are monitored 24x7.
Fire Detection and Suppression:
Our facility is equipped with electronic smoke VESDA
System and fire detectors monitored 24x7. The Data Center
is equipped with a FM-200 Innergen Fires Suppression
and a back-up pre-action dry sprinkler system.
Security and Access:
Physical security and access is provided by dual
authentication methods 24x7. Proximity cards and biometric
authentication devices are used to limit access to authorized
personnel. In addition, video cameras record activity
24x7.
Network Design and Backbone:
ColoSpace utilizes InterNAP connectivity from our
facility in Somerville, MA. Six tier-one providers have
fiber installed into the facility, connecting their
networks. A list of the providers is supplied for reference:
SAVVIS, Level 3, Global Crossing, Sprint, Verio, MCI.
Service Level Agreement (SLA):
ColoSpace guarantees 100% availability to the Internet.
If packet loss over our chosen routes reaches 100% during
any hour over a one-month period all eligible ColoSpace
customers will receive a credit equal to one day of
their monthly bandwidth charges on their monthly bill.
Network availability to the Internet will be calculated
by averaging measurements between points located in
various represented geographies by ColoSpace during
a one-month period.
