ColoSpace provides the following services:
Data Center Space:
License to use data center space, open rack space,
secure cabinet space or a private caged area. The space
will include all required electricity, IP addresses
and DNS service for the customer. All of the above is
included in the monthly data center charges.
Bandwidth to the Internet:
ColoSpace will provide the required amount of bandwidth
on a shared 100 Mbps Internet feed for the monthly bandwidth
charges. ColoSpace guarantees 100% availability to the
Internet. If packet loss over our chosen routes reaches
100% during any hour over a one-month period all eligible
ColoSpace customers will receive a credit equal to one
day of their monthly bandwidth charges on their monthly
bill. Network availability to the Internet will be calculated
by averaging measurements between points located in
various represented geographies by ColoSpace during
a one-month period.
On-site Consulting Services:
ColoSpace offers 24x7 onsite technical support and
managed services if required. Through our network of
alliances and partners, ColoSpace can truly provide
a complete end-to-end solution. ColoSpace can procure,
configure, and install the necessary hardware and software
to bring your project online with unprecedented speed.
Rental of the data center space includes the following:
Power:
Our facility is served by two independent power feeds
from different utility company plants. Our power supply
is protected with two one-megawatt generators backing
up each feed, for a total of four generators providing
150% backup. Our generators are accompanied with full
UPS system interfacing the utility and generator feeds.
Power is provided to the customer via two separate Power
Distribution Units (PDUs).
Environmental Controls:
Our building has a fully redundant Leibert HVAC system
� maintaining temperature and humidity to rigid standards.
Systems are monitored both on and off-site by staff
24x7.
Fire Detection and Suppression:
Our facility is equipped with a VESDA Fire Detection
System, along with electronic smoke and fire detectors
monitored both on and off site by staff 24x7. Our facility
is also equipped with a pre-action dry sprinkler system
along with fire extinguishers placed throughout the
building.
Security and Access:
Physical security and access is provided by four
security guards on duty all shifts, 24x7. Guards are
stationed at the entrances to the building as well as
at the entrances of our colocation space. Security cameras
are placed on the exterior and interior of the building
and are monitored and recorded both on and off site
by security personnel. Proximity cards and biometric
authentication devices are used to limit access to authorized
personnel.
Equipment Receiving and Storage:
All equipment shipments are received by a uniformed
guard at the loading door and are stored in a secure
caged area until retrieved by the customer. An equipment
staging area is provided to unpack the boxes and prepare
the equipment for installation.
Network Design and Backbone:
ColoSpace utilizes Internap and Cogent connectivity
in our facility. Six tier one providers have fiber installed
into the facility, connecting their networks. A list
