Colocation and Managed Services Sales Executive

Somerville & Rockland, MA.


Job Description:

The successful Account Executive candidate will be the sales lead in the Boston Metro area to acquire new accounts and expand business in an existing account base. This is an individual contributor role with a base salary and strong commission plan. Our ideal candidate is one that can build upon their experience and relationships in selling communication services, Colocation or managed services and leverage them with our growing firm.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales quota.
• Generate, develop and manage an extensive sales pipeline.
• Coordinate internal team members to design, present and close compelling business solutions.
• Proactively prospect and network to expand opportunity pool.
• Build long term customer relationships at the CXO level.
• Maintain records of contacts, accounts, and opportunities in CRM database (Saleforce.com).

Job Qualifications:
• Goal oriented person with strong track record selling to mid size enterprise to Fortune 500
• Demonstrated ability to prospect and close sales in a competitive marketplace
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Aggressive closer with personal drive, integrity and energy
• Strong organization, time management, and planning skills
• Self motivated, results driven, team player
• Experience utilizing MS Office tools and Salesforce.com

Education and Experience:
• Minimum 7+ years relevant and successful sales experience in technology
• Sound information technology knowledge
• BA/BS in relevant subject preferred
• Local candidates as ColoSpace will not be sponsoring visa or relocation for this position.
