ColoSpace provides the following services:
Data Center Space:
License to use data center space in flexible configurations.
Shared rack, secure half and full cabinets, private
cages, and custom private data center environments are
available. The space includes dedicated secure space,
data center grade HVAC cooling and humidity control,
and all required electricity for the customer. All of
the above is included in the monthly data center charges.
Internet Bandwidth:
ColoSpace will provide the required amount of dedicated
Internet bandwidth on a single or dual 100 Mbps Internet
feed. By utilizing multiple Tier One carriers and redundant
fiber connections, ColoSpace guarantees 100% availability
to the Internet. If packet loss over our chosen routes
reaches 100% during any hour over a one-month period
all eligible ColoSpace customers will receive a credit
on their monthly bandwidth charges on their monthly
bill. Network availability to the Internet will be calculated
by averaging measurements between points located in
various represented geographies by ColoSpace during
a one-month period.
Rental of the data center space includes the following:
Power:
Our facility is served by a telco-grade power feed
from the utility company and is protected from power
surges. Clients have the option of receiving electricity
as redundant A-B power feeds. Our power supply has a
600 KW diesel generator supporting the data center in
the event of a power failure. In addition, a UPS Battery
Backup System that is monitored and maintained by the
manufacturer to protect the data center power.
Environmental Controls:
Our data center has a fully redundant data center
grade HVAC system. The system is powered with redundant
cooling tower and air handlers equipment that maintains
temperature and humidity to rigid industry standards.
Systems are monitored 24x7.
Fire Detection and Suppression:
Our facility is equipped with electronic smoke and
fire detectors monitored 24x7. Our facility is also
equipped with a pre-action dry pipe suppression system.
Security and Access:
Physical security and access is provided by a system
of access cards, keys and additional controls.
Network Design and Backbone:
Internet Bandwidth is guaranteed to have 100% up
time, and is provided to us by a combination of the
6 Tier One providers. We have redundant circuits carrying
the bandwidth to our facilities, and it is monitored
24x7. Bandwidth charges include IP address space, and
DNS, if desired. Customers can access bandwidth utilization
and QoS information via a password-protected customer
management console.
Fiber within the Facility:
Verizon, NEESCom, RCN and multiple private dark fiber
providers.
